Whenever I activate my headphone audio, via the radio control panel (question mark), I lose ability to talk through my mic. As soon as I select my standard sound card speakers, the mic comes back. I "am" able to hear through the headphones....but again, when I set that up, I can't speak.

Any ideas?

Changing your audio output settings should have no effect on your audio input. When you lose the mic, try re-setting the audio input again. Open the input mixer and be sure the sliders and check marks are correct.

What version of Windows?
