Like Linux Apple OSX is a Unix based operating system so unless you have VMWare or Parallels with a Windows virtual drive, or a bootcamp partition with a Windows installation, you will not be able to run the .exe file.

VMWare also allows you to boot the Bootcamp partition without the need to leave OSX or restart the computer.

I'm using CQ100 on a Mac. I'm using VirtualBox (free VM software from Oracle, formerly Sun Microsystems) running Windows XP. Works great.
